Well you know electricity has to be transmitted on a current...and batteries can't store that much or for a long time. Gasoline is just a flammable liquid, so when it "combusts" I think it generates plenty of power, and stores easier.

I think El cores sound more efficient though...both electricity and gas waste a lot of energy. It's something scientists back home are always working on.
